Turning the Tide is a project of Quaker Peace and Social Witness (QPSW).
QPSW works with and on behalf of the Religious Society of Friends in Britain to translate faith into action. Turning the Tide works with Quakers and nonviolent activist groups to advance the understanding of active nonviolence and its use for positive social change.

This site was built in 2006-2007 using Drupal. Our brief was to create a simple, clean-looking CMS-based site, which could have three discrete areas - for the public, for Turning the Tide's "Resource People", and an area for people attending a year-long course. Each area has particular features and resources available.
