The Food Ethics Council (FEC) is a charity that works on issues ranging from the power of the supermarkets, food poverty and workers’ rights, to air freight, genetic modification, meat and climate change, and water scarcity.

Netuxo developed this site in 2009 for the Food Ethics Council, using Drupal 6. The site was built to a new design, replacing FEC's previous website.

We created a system to allow site visitors to subscribe to the Food Ethics magazine, using paypal to make payments and then receiving access to online PDF flies. The site will also take donations, either in combination with subscription fees or separately

We also provided functions for the Food Ethics Council to run polls on the website, and to publicise events, which are displayed in a calendar view

We created a Drupal theme to implement a design supplied by
Trang Du. The site appears as it was designed in all popular modern web browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox 3.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and 8, Google Chrome and Apple's Safari. It remains functional when accessed with Internet Explorer 6.
