Most Netuxo email users access their mail via a client application such as Thunderbird, Outlook or Kmail, using imap or pop to view or download messages. Sometimes though we all need to access our mail while we are out and about, and if we don't have a good handheld device for imap, then we need to use a browser-based webmail service.
Note:Webmail is ok for now and then, but to effectively manage your mail and contacts, we would recommend using imap and a good mail client for your mail locally/on mobile devices.
Netuxo has two webmail systems in place which our users can turn to to grab mail on the fly.

The first and most widely-used is Squirrelmail: this can be accessed at http://yourdomain.whatever/squirrelmail. Its pretty straightforward to use and there is an excellent user guide here: http://www.squirrelmail.org/docs/user/user.html.

The second is Horde: for people used to Squirrelmail, the Horde interface can seem a bit confusing at first, but it is a useful backup to be used for example, when we have occasional problems with Squirrelmail or are carrying out routine maintenance. Horde webmail is accessed at: http://webmail.yourdomain.whatever and the user guide is available here: http://wiki.horde.org/FAQ/User
Here are some some pointers for Horde

On login you may see an automated "maintenance" notice. Do not be alarmed by this, it is perfectly normal. Just decide whether you want Horde to tidy up your attachments for you or not and whether to run the maintenance or not. You can tell it to skip this operation.

After you run or skip maintenance the next screen Horde presents will not show you the inbox. This can be confusing. What you need to do is click the "mail" item on the menu on the left sidebar.

Now you have selected mail, Horde will display the mail sub menu with default folders and any you have created. Now you can access your inbox and everything else.
